On the Green at Hunstanton, Norfolk c1934

This photo appears to have been taken a few years later than yesterday's swimming pool photo. This time the venue is Hunstanton Green. Millie is on the left, then an unknown child, Mary, Dennis and his grandma Jessie are sitting on the bench. Millie has that same tranquil look about her as in the swimming pool photo. This is how I always remember Millie.

Again, I have collected several postcards of the Green:

Jessie is all wrapped up on what looks like a warm day. Typical of the older generation. I don't remember seeing my grandmother go without a cardigan and she always wore a hat when she went out. Where do you find the old postcards Sheila?

It's true about wearing more clothes, even on the beach, but they never seem hot !

Sheila, I get the postcards at collector fairs, postcard stalls at antique fairs, and also ebay is a good source.

I have a few copies of postcards that people have sent me but no originals. I will have to start looking.
